Welcome Note from the Chairman

Dear Friend,

Welcome and thank you for visiting the official web site of the Northumberland County Republican Committee! We hope you will take a moment to look at our many features, and that you will come back often to see current activities and developments. This is our way of inviting you to join the Committee and to get involved in the Elections this year.

Our Committee is always on the go, and we are always looking for new members. During the last election we were able to man each polling place in the County, and were able to deliver solid majorities for Republican candidates. We are proud that John McCain carried the county by a large margin, and that Congressman Whitman did better in Northumberland than he did in his Home County. Needless to say, we want to build on that momentum, and to involve new people like you in the Republican Party.

As you tour the web site, you will notice many things: that we have a place for everyone, young and old alike; that we have quarterly social events attended by friends, neighbors and candidates; that we have monthly meetings marked by lively discussions among informed citizens; that we have a newsletter filled with information and opinion. In short, we have a lot of fun together and want to include you.

Please consider joining the Committee. It’s completely free and it will give you the opportunity to decide where, how, and to what extent you want to become involved in the future of our home and our country. I look forward to seeing you at the next meeting or event.
